These rules apply at all times — in-game, in Discord, and in any BSG-RP community space. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
Section 1
General Conduct
1.1
Respect everyone
Treat all players and staff with basic respect. Harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism, or discrimination results in an immediate permanent ban.
1.2
No toxic behaviour
Trash talk, trolling, griefing, or deliberately ruining other players' experience is not tolerated.
1.3
Microphone required
All players must have a working microphone. In-character voice communication is required for roleplay interactions.
1.4
Age requirement
You must be 16 or older to play on BSG-RP. Lying about your age will result in a permanent ban.
1.5
Stay in character
Once you're in the server, stay in character. Save OOC conversations for Discord or designated OOC channels.
Section 2
Roleplay Standards
2.1
No RDM
Don't kill players without a valid in-character reason and prior meaningful interaction. There must be escalation — words before bullets.
2.2
No VDM
Don't use your vehicle as a weapon against players without strong RP reason and escalation. Joy-riding into crowds is an instant ban.
2.3
Value your life
Your character fears death. Don't act invincible. If someone has a gun to your head, comply — don't try to be a hero.
2.4
No powergaming
Don't force actions on other players or claim abilities your character realistically wouldn't have. RP is collaborative — not a competition.
2.5
No metagaming
Don't use out-of-character information in character. What you see on stream, Discord, or in OOC chat doesn't exist in the city.
2.6
No combat logging
Disconnecting during an active RP situation — especially chases, shootouts, or arrests — is a serious violation.
2.7
Fear RP
Play your character's fear realistically. Armed robbery, hostage situations, and threats should be taken seriously.
Section 3
LEO / Emergency Services
3.1
Professional conduct
LEO and EMS players are held to a higher standard. Abuse of power and misconduct will result in removal from the role.
3.2
Realistic policing
Police must have reasonable suspicion or probable cause before searches and stops. No pulling people over because you feel like it.
3.3
EMS neutrality
EMS players are neutral parties. They treat all citizens regardless of criminal status. EMS cannot be used to gather intel for LEO.
3.4
No buddy policing
Don't use your LEO whitelist to protect friends OOC. The badge is for RP, not favours.
Section 4
Criminal Activity
4.1
Criminal RP rules
Robberies, drug operations, and criminal enterprises must be roleplayed — not just mechanical money-grabs with no story.
4.2
Hostage rules
Hostages must be willing participants or properly negotiated. You cannot take a hostage just to avoid arrest.
4.3
No free-for-all
Criminal activity must have purpose, escalation, and story — not just chaos.
4.4
Respect the economy
Don't exploit glitches or bugs. Report them instead. Exploiting the economy results in a wipe and ban.
Section 5
Communication
5.1
No earrape
Playing loud sounds or using soundboards through your microphone is not allowed without staff permission for events.
5.2
English in global
In-game radio and global communication must be in English so staff can moderate effectively.
5.3
Discord conduct
The same rules that apply in-game apply in Discord. Keep it respectful and use channels for their intended purpose.
Section 6
Enforcement
6.1
Staff decisions are final
Staff rulings are final in the moment. Disagree? Open a ticket in Discord — don't argue in-game or in public channels.
6.2
Punishment scale
Minor violations: warning → kick → temp ban. Major violations (RDM, racism, hacking, exploits): immediate permanent ban.
6.3
Ban appeals
Permanent bans can be appealed via Discord ticket after 14 days. Appeals are reviewed by senior staff only.
6.4
No ban evading
Creating a new account to evade a ban results in a permanent IP ban and a report to FiveM.

Rules are updated occasionally. Current as of 2026. Check Discord for any changes.
